It sounds like the consensus is pretty clear then. Buying followers might seem like a quick fix, but it's probably more trouble than it's worth in the end. Organic growth, even if slower, seems like the smarter and more ethical approach.
Yeah, I’ve heard similar stories. One creator I follow said the same thing—buying followers early on seemed like a good idea, but it backfired. Their analytics were all over the place, making it hard to track what content actually worked. Since many of those followers weren’t engaging, it skewed the data and hurt growth. They used a service like Buy Instagram followers and while the numbers looked good at first, the long-term impact wasn’t worth it. Real engagement is definitely more valuable than just boosting stats.
