I’m putting together a bucket list of golf courses I want to play over the next few years and would love some recommendations. What are the absolute best courses you’ve played that you think are worth travelling for?
If you’re building a golf bucket list, consider Timberwolf Golf Club in Sudbury — challenging layout and beautiful scenery. Loch March near Ottawa is also fantastic with pristine fairways. Closer to Timmins, Hollinger Golf Club offers a great experience with scenic views and a welcoming atmosphere. Don’t forget to explore Timmins, ON Local Businesses for local restaurants and shops after your round. Cabot Links in Nova Scotia and Banff Springs in Alberta are absolute must-plays too. What kind of courses do you prefer — coastal, mountain, or parkland?
For something different, Pinehurst No. 2 (North Carolina) has amazing design and super fast greens — a real challenge but so rewarding.
Can’t wait to hear more courses from others — my list is already growing.
